About the position

The Child Watch Team Member is responsible for ensuring the safety and entertainment of children in a professional and energetic manner at Spooky Nook Sports. This part-time role involves engaging children in various activities while maintaining a safe environment. The position requires availability during evenings and weekends, with specific hours outlined for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome parents and children in a warm, friendly manner.
• Engage children in a variety of fun and thoughtful activities.
• Enforce all rules of the child care area consistently.
• Maintain and monitor a safe and healthy environment for children to play.
• Interact both verbally and hands-on with kids during activities.
• Lead children through a variety of arts and crafts on specific days.
• Ensure children are monitored, safe, and treated fairly at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Fluent knowledge of the English language, including reading and interpreting written information and verbal communication.
• Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with reasonable accommodations as necessary.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience working with children.
• Ohio BCI and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance dated within the past 5 years.
