About the position
The Child Care Teacher Assistant at KidCare Learning Center is responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in children's lives and are looking for either part-time or full-time opportunities. The position requires a commitment to creating a fun and safe atmosphere for children while supporting their developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities and programs for children.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Supervise children during playtime and educational activities.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (may obtain after hired).
- Experience working with children is preferred, especially in a licensed center.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior teaching experience in a quality child care center is preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal history/fingerprint background check.
