About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will work closely with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to support their growth and development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Your expertise in early childhood education will be essential in fostering a love for learning and promoting positive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining an organized and engaging environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior in a constructive manner.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child care.

Requirements

• Experience in infant care, toddler care, or daycare settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Proven skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Prior experience as a nanny or babysitter is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in bilingual education or knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
