Child Care Teacher

Arthrex Academy, managed by Bright Horizons, will be opening in March of 2025! We are currently hiring full time Teachers to work with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. Teachers will join the team to begin training in February 2025. This beautiful, state-of-the-art center in Naples, Florida will offer spacious classrooms, indoor gross motor rooms, a library, a STEM-focused Innovation Lab, and MUCH more!

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• May provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
• 45 state-required DCF hours preferred (required if training plan started 1 yr+ or as required by state licensing regulations)
