The Child Care Teacher at Little Tyke Learning Center is responsible for fostering a nurturing and educational environment for preschool children. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, colleagues, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure the education, welfare, health, and safety of preschool children by adhering to Child Care Licensing standards and company policies.
  • Maintain a fun, educational, clean, and organized daycare classroom where children can thrive and learn.
  • Collaborate with a creative team to provide a nurturing environment for children.
  • Participate in ongoing training to further personal and professional development.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old and meets basic requirements of HHSC.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in child care or preschool teaching is preferred.
  • CDA or other Child Development related classes preferred.
  • Knowledge of the educational, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative needs of preschool children.
