About the position

The Child Care Teacher at Little Tyke Learning Center is responsible for fostering a nurturing and educational environment for preschool children. This role emphasizes building positive relationships with families, children, and colleagues while ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of the children in their care. Responsibilities

• Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, colleagues, and administrative staff.
• Ensure the education, welfare, health, and safety of preschool children by adhering to Child Care Licensing standards and company policies.
• Maintain a fun, educational, clean, and organized daycare classroom where children can thrive and learn.
• Collaborate with a creative team to provide a nurturing environment for children.
• Participate in ongoing training to further personal and professional development.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and meets basic requirements of HHSC.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in child care or preschool teaching is preferred.
• CDA or other Child Development related classes preferred.
• Knowledge of the educational, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative needs of preschool children.
