About the position
As the teacher at Primrose School of Galena, you'll ensure the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and any other passengers during bus transportation. Make a difference every day by spending your days building genuine relationships with each child, helping them learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more. Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum, maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence, and discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them. Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of children during bus transportation.
- Build genuine relationships with each child.
- Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.
- Work with co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making.
