The Child Care Teacher position at Tutor Time involves promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in a nurturing environment. Teachers will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation while mentoring new hires and building relationships with families. Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensuring classroom instruction is at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist with the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow teachers.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.

Requirements

• Valid Child Development Associate Certification certification.
• Experience in teaching.
• High school diploma or GED.
