The Child Development Technician at Kids First in Warren, AR, plays a crucial role in providing care and intervention for young children with developmental delays and special medical needs. This position involves assisting the Early Childhood Development Specialist in delivering individualized developmental services in a pediatric day healthcare setting, ensuring a child-centered and family-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality direct patient care for a group of young children including serving mealtimes, assisting with feeding, diapering, and dressing.
• Provides developmentally appropriate behavioral guidance within daily scheduled activities.
• Follows the direction of the Early Childhood Development Specialist to provide individualized developmental services in assigned treatment rooms.
• Establishes exciting learning environments for young children and applies curriculum to address the objectives contained in each child's treatment plan.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in the care of children.
• Additional education including CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement.
