About the position
The Childcare Infants Teacher at Kidz-Zona Learning Center is responsible for supporting the healthy development of children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This full-time position requires a passionate and reliable individual who can implement lesson plans and provide a rich educational experience for infants and toddlers. The role emphasizes the total development of the child—physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
Responsibilities
- Support the healthy development of children in a childcare setting.
- Implement and follow lesson plans for classroom activities.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
- Lead a classroom and manage daily activities effectively.
- Meet all Arizona state licensing requirements for childcare providers.
Requirements
- Associate degree in early childhood education or related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- Current certification in child CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to meet Arizona state licensing requirements, including a current fingerprint clearance card.
- Experience leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Quality First/FTF program.
- References demonstrating a proven track record of caring for and nurturing children.
