About the position
Just 4 Kids Learning Academy is seeking a dependable and organized Childcare Operations Coordinator to manage morning operations at the daycare. This role involves preparing meals, transporting children, managing payments, and supporting staff to ensure a smooth and safe environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Open the daycare each morning at 6:00 AM and prepare the center for the day.
- Cook and serve breakfast and lunch according to meal plans and nutritional guidelines.
- Safely transport children to local schools in the daycare vehicle.
- Manage parent payments, record transactions, and provide payment receipts.
- Provide break coverage for other staff members as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, following all health and safety regulations.
- Support the director and team in daily operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in childcare, food preparation, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of payment management and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Customer service experience (1 year preferred).
