About the position

The Program Manager at Right At School is responsible for delivering engaging educational programs that inspire a love of learning among children. This role involves organizing program materials, documenting attendance, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children during before and after school hours. The Program Manager will work closely with a team of educators to create a positive learning environment and support children's academic and social development.

Responsibilities

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and incidents.
  • Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building activities.
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and attention of all children.
  • Support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to model appropriate positive discipline.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning and the ability to engage children in learning activities in a fun and interactive way.
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children.
  • 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent and 30 credits from 100 class or above in college coursework.
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Proof of an MMR.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
