About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our family at Raz Family Farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing and educating our three young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development. This part-time position offers the opportunity to transition into full-time hours, with a focus on providing attentive care and engaging activities for the children.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Reliably pick up children from school and take them to afternoon activities locally.
• Assist with learning and development, including helping with homework and reading assignments.
• Engage and play with kids, fostering a fun and interactive environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to ensure a safe environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support children.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• 3 years of experience in childcare or related fields
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
• Driver's License
• Child Development Teacher Permit
• Child Development Associate Certification

Nice-to-haves

• Background in early childhood education or related certifications
• Familiarity with educational activities that support early childhood learning
