Childcare Provider

About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care, ensuring their well-being and promoting their growth through engaging activities and play.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime.
• Implement first aid procedures when necessary to ensure the safety of all children.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or classroom settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Ability to provide care for infants and toddlers, including experience in infant care and toddler care.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required; willingness to obtain certification promptly if not currently held.
• A genuine love for children and a commitment to fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
