About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized daycare environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive learning experience for all children.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational activities for young children.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is beneficial but not required.
