About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development. This role involves working with children of various ages, providing a supportive and engaging environment that fosters growth and learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Educate children on basic life skills, manners, and social interactions.
• Provide care for children including feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive interactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring all toys and materials are safe for use.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Stay informed about childhood development principles to support the growth of each child in your care.

Requirements

• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Experience in daycare settings or as a nanny is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures; certification is a plus.
• Understanding of special education needs is beneficial.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain order during activities.
• Ability to educate children through play, creativity, and structured learning experiences.
• Experience in toddler care is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike.
• A genuine love for caregiving and nurturing young minds.

Nice-to-haves
