About the position

The Childcare Provider at Real Wellness is responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children while their parents enjoy fitness activities. This part-time role requires a nurturing individual who can supervise children, foster a positive atmosphere, and communicate effectively with parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare room environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's experience in the childcare room, including concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
• Monitor children's behavior and implement classroom management strategies as needed.
• Complete light cleaning checklist for facility.
• Assist the Fitness Coach with workout setup for the next day.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in various settings is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare settings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
