About the position

We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team and support various classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in education and providing a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher to ensure continuity in education
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
• Provide instruction, support, and guidance to students across various subjects
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents
• Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working with students in educational settings
• Knowledge of curriculum development and various subjects such as Math and Early Childhood Education
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques
• Background in childcare or tutoring is beneficial
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents
• Familiarity with educational approaches like Montessori is a plus
