About the position

Kids First OKC Childcare Center is seeking dedicated and nurturing childcare workers to supervise and support children's activities in a safe and engaging environment. The role involves working collaboratively with a team to provide care, maintain cleanliness, and develop lesson plans that adhere to early learning guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities.
• Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests, and relay needed information to parents.
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment.
• Develop and apply lesson plans in the classroom following the ELG (Early Learning) guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience is preferred, but not required (TRAINING IS PROVIDED).
• Verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand.
• Able to pass a background check.
