About the position

The Children's Birthday Host & Event Planner at Kids Wonder is responsible for creating memorable experiences for children and their families during birthday parties and special events. This role involves setting up, hosting, and cleaning up after events, as well as engaging with children and parents in a friendly and supportive manner. The position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Host children's birthday parties by setting up tables and decorations, providing service, and cleaning up afterward.
• Plan and execute special events and enrichment activities throughout the year.
• Communicate and interact with small children in a caring and engaging way.
• Support and interact with parents in a friendly manner.
• Follow processes to ensure party continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Upsell party offerings and provide excellent service to party families.
• Respond quickly and calmly to customer requests and inquiries.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work Fridays and weekends with shifts until 7:00 PM.
• Reliable transportation and comfortable driving in bad weather.
• Legal documentation establishing identity and eligibility for employment.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with social media management or Canva.
• Friendly demeanor and ability to ensure delightful customer experiences.
