The Chiller Technician at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and installation services of chillers for commercial customers. This role involves consulting with customers regarding issues discovered during service and collaborating with the Service Coordination team to meet customer needs and expectations. The position is part of a union and requires a commitment to safety, technical expertise, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repairs, and installation services of chillers for commercial customers.
• Consult with customers regarding problems or issues discovered while servicing their chiller systems.
• Work closely with the Service Coordination team and Foreperson to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
• Execute tasks with a focus on safety and quality craftsmanship.

Requirements

• High level of technical ability in chiller systems.
• Membership to or willingness to join Local 32.
• Universal Refrigerant Card, WA 06A, WA 07 licenses/certifications.
• Strong work ethic and ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Goal/results-oriented with initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
