About the position

A global food distribution company located in the Denver (Aurora), CO area is seeking a Chinese/Mandarin Bilingual Sales Representative/Business Development candidate to join their team. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and offers a direct hire opportunity with full benefits. The role is suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with senior-level sales experience, as well as recent graduates looking to start their careers in sales. In this position, the Sales Representative will be responsible for traveling to customers and potential customers' facilities to provide them with necessary information and support to secure and maintain business relationships. The candidate will establish, maintain, and develop business relationships within the assigned territory to maximize profitability. This includes selling the company's original products to all customers in the designated area and growing the business by anticipating customer needs, determining appropriate solutions to business problems, and delivering a high level of customer service. The Sales Representative will also be expected to understand and execute the sales plan, including price adjustments as directed by management. Effective communication with customers regarding plans and resource management to support sales volume is crucial. Additionally, the role involves communicating new product and service opportunities, gathering feedback through field activities, and cooperating with the accounting department to ensure the collection of accounts receivable. The candidate will assist in establishing sales objectives in collaboration with Area Team Managers or Sales Managers and work with Operations and Logistics staff to achieve territory sales goals. Timely reporting of field activities and attendance at quarterly inventory counts are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customers and potential customers' facilities providing them with information and support as required to secure and maintain business.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers in the assigned territory to maximize profitability.
  • Responsible for selling the company's original products to all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Grow business by anticipating customer needs, determining appropriate solutions to business problems, and providing an overall high level of customer service.
  • Understand and execute the sales plan and price adjustments based on management's instructions.
  • Communicate plans to customers and effectively manage resources to support sales volume.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, information, or feedback gathering through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Cooperate with the accounting department to ensure the collection of accounts receivable due.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory in cooperation with Area Team Managers or Sales Managers.
  • Cooperate with assigned Operation and Logistic staff to achieve territory sales goals.
  • Provide timely reporting of activities in the field to assist in business and product planning.
  • Submit sales activity reports and other reports as needed.
  • Attend quarterly inventory count.

Requirements

  • Business-level Chinese/Mandarin and English bilingual ability.
  • Microsoft Office and general PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Customer service skills.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
