About the position

The Chromatography & MS Inside Sales Representative will support the MidAtlantic and Federal Accounts by working closely with the sales team to acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships. This role involves managing a personal sales funnel and requires regular communication with stakeholders to discuss deals, issues, and opportunities. The position demands strong customer service skills and familiarity with Agilent service products to effectively engage with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell company products and services, including instruments, services, consumables, and applications, to end-user customers primarily through inbound and outbound telephone sales activities.
  • Act independently or as part of a sales team, potentially supporting a field sales team.
  • Represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
  • Focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
  • Close sales on systems and products through digital communication methods such as telephone, email, online store, and webchat.
  • Drive customers to purchase via Agilent's online store.
  • Carry team or individual quota.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years relevant experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry sales.
