About the position

The Church Membership Database - Administrative Assistant will work closely with Senior Executive Leadership to provide insights and support for operational decisions. This role involves collecting and analyzing data, establishing administrative policies, and implementing programs to enhance the church's effectiveness. The assistant will also provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Youth Pastor as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Database Input
  • Work with leadership to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Build reporting and analytics to support sales activity while providing recommendations to improve the sales process.
  • Ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal and external teams.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information from staff in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to create data strategies that support data modeling.
  • Assist in creating a strategy that helps to increase the company's customer base.
  • Identify opportunities to work cross-functionally.
  • Build strong and influential internal relationships to help ensure business objectives are being met.
  • Remove corrupted data and review through root cause analysis.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor and Youth Pastor as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in Information Technology Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
  • Data management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and able to work on teams cross-functionally.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through with important projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
