About the position

MERL is offering an internship focused on research in IoT network anomaly detection and analysis. The intern will work on developing innovative technologies aimed at proactively detecting and analyzing network failures in large-scale IoT networks. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in machine learning and anomaly detection, particularly those in the later stages of their Ph.D. program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on anomaly detection in large-scale IoT networks.
• Develop proactive network anomaly detection and analysis technologies.
• Simulate and analyze the performance of developed technology.

Requirements

• Knowledge of LLM/ML and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with network log analysis and network protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in communications, artificial intelligence, data analytics, or signal processing.
