The CIO is expected to establish accountability within their teams by setting clear expectations and implementing measurable standards that align with the organization's strategic goals and business objectives. This position is not just about managing technology; it is about fostering a culture of discipline, project management, and technological innovation that supports the broader business strategy. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. You will lead a diverse team of IT professionals, including cybersecurity specialists, enterprise architects, project management office (PMO) staff, and electronic data processing (EDP) personnel. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring the successful implementation of IT projects, and maintaining discipline in project management and prioritization. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that the IT department is responsive to the changing needs of the business. Collaboration with other senior leaders will be essential as you align IT initiatives with business goals and drive organizational success. You will actively participate in Koch Council discussions, ensuring that your department meets Koch-wide expectations for cybersecurity and risk mitigation. This role may require travel up to 20%, reflecting the need for engagement with various stakeholders and partners.
