About the position
As a Circuit Design Engineering Manager for the LRASM program at Lockheed Martin, you will lead a team of engineers in the design and development of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and the successful execution of program requirements while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in circuit design and FPGA development.
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.
- Conduct performance assessments and manage salary planning.
- Support program development and execution of program requirements.
- Promote customer focus and adherence to engineering processes.
- Utilize knowledge in circuit card design to drive technical excellence.
- Leverage experience in integrated product teams to lead team success.
Requirements
- Experience with LM Design Assurance process for circuit card designs and/or FPGAs.
- Experience in generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
- Experience leading a multifunctional disciplinary engineering team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in various sensor technologies.
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
- Experience in designing complex boards.
