About the position
The Part-Time Circulation Manager at Great Valley Publishing Co., Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing circulation operations, ensuring efficient distribution and subscription management. This role is crucial for maintaining readership and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective management of subscription services and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage subscription services, including processing new subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations.
- Work with and manage our fulfillment circulation service and printer to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Monitor circulation data and generate reports to analyze trends and performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies to increase readership.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to circulation.
- Maintain an organized database of subscribers and distribution records.
- Ensure compliance with periodicals postage requirements and manage related documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in circulation management or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of periodicals postage requirements is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
