About the position

The CIRE Vaccine Education Project Manager will oversee a project funded by the Minnesota Department of Health, focusing on clinician-to-clinician education regarding vaccine topics. This role involves coordinating educational visits for healthcare providers across Minnesota, facilitating discussions on effective communication strategies, and ensuring project deliverables are met within the specified timeline. The position requires significant travel throughout the state and offers the option for remote work, provided the employee resides in or near Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the CIRE Vaccine Education project funded by the Minnesota Department of Health.
  • Schedule and execute 25 clinician-to-clinician educational visits for healthcare provider sites throughout Minnesota.
  • Coordinate on-site educational sessions with healthcare providers.
  • Work with vaccine champions to facilitate clinician-to-clinician visits.
  • Travel to clinic sites to facilitate educational events.
  • Collaborate with MDH to identify high-priority clinics for vaccine education.
  • Coordinate continuing education credits and participant compensation for each event.
  • Organize regular meetings between the CIRE team and MDH team.
  • Complete all evaluation and reporting requirements for MDH.
  • Supervise one graduate assistant working on the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or a bachelor's degree with work experience in a health-related field.
  • Master's degree in public health from a CEPH-accredited institution or a related field, or currently completing a master's degree in public health or related field with a completed bachelor's degree, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of public health experience.
  • Expertise in vaccination and effective communication strategies for addressing vaccine hesitancy.
  • Previous experience in project management or coordinating events/activities.
  • Experience in survey design and survey software (e.g., Qualtrics).
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in public health with an emphasis in infectious disease management, epidemiology, or related field.
