About the position

The Citizen Developer Program Manager at Vituity is responsible for leading and managing the Citizen Developer program, which focuses on empowering employees to utilize low-code/no-code platforms for automation and process improvement. This role involves delivering training, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance the skills of Citizen Developers. The manager will also establish best practices, monitor compliance, and stay informed on industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and supporting materials to educate end users on low-code/no-code platforms.
• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Citizen Developer program participants and alumni, helping them to overcome technical challenges and enhance their skills.
• Encourage Citizen Developer cohorts to share knowledge with each other.
• Develop a knowledge base and community of practice to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among Citizen Developers.
• Advise on best practices and be an expert in troubleshooting.
• Actively identify potential Citizen Developers.
• Advise Digital Adoption and Enablement Manager on educational offerings, program goals, metrics, and KPIs.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where employees feel empowered to participate in the program.
• Exhibit advanced skillset in using MS Power Automate to create complex flows.
• Develop advanced skillset in new and emerging low code and no code automation tools that could benefit Vituity.
• Research and stay informed on industry best practices for Citizen Developer programming & automation tools.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and new programming.
• Liaise with the Product Management team, particularly in the ideation phase of new projects to identify those requests which could be resolved with automation.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices to ensure the quality and security of citizen-developed workflows and bots.
• Engage Information Security team when necessary.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with Vituity regulations, standards, and policies.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of Citizen Developer activities.

Requirements

• Experience in managing training programs and workshops related to low-code/no-code platforms.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills to support Citizen Developer participants.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Power Automate and other low-code/no-code automation tools.
• Ability to research and stay informed on industry best practices and trends.
• Experience in establishing governance frameworks and compliance monitoring.

Nice-to-haves
