About the position

The Branch Manager is responsible for driving branch performance, sales growth, and enhancing both colleague and customer experiences through effective leadership and operational practices. This role involves mentoring branch colleagues, achieving sales goals, and fostering a customer-centric culture while managing the branch's profit and loss (P&L). The Branch Manager also plays a crucial role in developing a diverse talent pipeline and ensuring continuous learning and development within the team.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch performance and sales growth.
• Create and maintain a strong customer-centric culture.
• Mentor and manage branch colleagues to achieve sales goals.
• Deliver product/service value and differentiate solutions for customer needs.
• Communicate business priorities clearly to colleagues.
• Manage the branch P&L and guide decision-making based on financials.
• Lead and direct all colleague and sales activities to meet P&L targets.
• Cultivate new customer relationships and deepen existing ones in the community.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Leadership experience with proven ability to coach and develop teams.
• 4 years of sales management experience in Retail or Branch Banking environment.
• Successful record of managing objectives in a profit and loss environment.
• Ability to drive exceptional customer experience validated through surveys.
• Strong partnerships with community and civic organizations.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Compliance with SAFE Act requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing a branch with an FTE count of 8 or more preferred; up to 7 for Tier II and III; up to 6 for Tier IV.
• Skilled in remote or multi-unit management for multi-site locations.
