About the position

The City Manager role at Oppizi involves overseeing the distribution of offline marketing campaigns in Raleigh, NC. This position is crucial for managing a team of Brand Ambassadors, ensuring operational standards are met, and optimizing campaign effectiveness through data analysis and city mapping. The role is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to improve performance and communication within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage distribution of flyers operations in downtown Raleigh and potentially regionally.
  • Ensure Brand Ambassadors are performing up to standards and provide support for performance improvement.
  • Draft weekly rosters for Brand Ambassadors based on location analysis.
  • Analyze distribution data using Excel/Google Spreadsheet to optimize team deployment.
  • Map the city to identify the best locations for flyering distribution.
  • Manage inventory of campaign materials such as flyers and uniforms.
  • Report daily to the Ops team and confirm Brand Ambassadors as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an operations job role, with on-site management experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Raleigh, having lived there for at least 6 years.
  • Strong experience in Excel or Google Spreadsheets.
  • Good communication skills and team management abilities.
  • A car is required for the role.
  • A functional phone with good battery stamina for app usage is necessary.
  • A laptop for training, meetings, and planning sessions is required.
