About the position

Freese and Nichols has some fabulous opportunities for December 2024 and May/August 2025 new grads to launch their careers! Our opportunities provide you with a supportive pathway to grow your career in many areas - design, modeling, planning, technical excellence, and business development. You will partner with others to complete tasks by collecting and correlating information to assist in completing projects. You will also verify information and adjust data as needed. And coordinate project efforts with others contributing to the project as well. Your work may involve designing a roadway, highway, water pipeline, water treatment facility, dam, reservoir, or levee. Other opportunities exist for you to guide your client's stormwater and flood risk reduction programs utilizing modeling and design. You may assist your client in planning for long-term water solutions and support communities in enhancing their existing infrastructure for future needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with others to complete tasks by collecting and correlating information to assist in completing projects.
  • Verify information and adjust data as needed.
  • Coordinate project efforts with others contributing to the project.
  • Design roadways, highways, water pipelines, water treatment facilities, dams, reservoirs, or levees.
  • Guide clients' stormwater and flood risk reduction programs utilizing modeling and design.
  • Assist clients in planning for long-term water solutions and enhancing existing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering, Structural/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering, Biological and Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Current grad or those graduating in December 2024, May 2025, or August 2025).
