This position is based out of either our Pittsburgh or Philadelphia offices, where you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of large-scale aviation design projects. Your responsibilities will include plan preparation, design development, and quantity take-offs, while collecting and evaluating important project data. You will collaborate with some of the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, contributing to complex solutions for some of our nation's largest airports. Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of senior staff to perform quantity takeoffs, computer modeling, design calculations, and plan set production for military and commercial airfields.
  • Collaborate closely on project assignments with other engineers and technicians in the discipline group.
  • Assist with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
  • Travel approximately 10-20% to support nationwide airport projects.
  • Attend and/or conduct client meetings and interact with clients both virtually and in-person.
  • Provide engineering services that include design research and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the design and/or construction of aviation projects
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
  • Registered EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
