The Civil CAD 3D Designer position in Venice, FL, is a full-time role focused on civil engineering design, particularly in land development, utilities, roadway, and structural plan preparation. Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering plans and designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ensure compliance with SW Florida Codes and Ordinances and Florida Building Code Standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and schedules.
• Utilize additional software tools such as ICPR, Modret, CloudWorx, and ArcGIS as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as a Civil Engineering CAD Technician/Designer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Knowledge of SW Florida Codes and Ordinances and Florida Building Code Standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate degree or high school diploma with advanced technical training.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional software such as ICPR, Modret, CloudWorx, and ArcGIS.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills.
