About the position

The Civil CAD Design Technician at Jacobs Engineering is responsible for producing high-quality civil drawings and collaborating closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients. This role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings.
• Make drawing edits based on markups from clients and/or Engineers.
• Create and/or modify base drawings.
• Work as a productive team member and CAD user on project documents from beginning to end.
• Follow CAD standards and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of CAD experience in AutoCAD.
• General understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and quality work products.
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
