About the position

The Civil CAD Designer is responsible for executing a variety of CAD design assignments with a focus on residential land development projects. This role requires independent judgment and initiative, and may involve providing guidance and reviewing the work of lower-level CAD operators. The position is contract-to-hire and offers long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Execute CAD design assignments for residential land development projects.
• Provide guidance and review work of lower-level CAD operators.
• Utilize independent judgment and initiative in design tasks.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical college education, or a combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of civil design experience, specifically in residential land development including site grading, roadway, culinary water, and structural elements (footings, foundations, and floor layout).
• Experience with current AutoCAD 3D based platforms is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Revit is a plus.
