We are currently seeking a Civil/Construction Engineer with a proven track record of successfully managing a broad range of construction projects. In this role, you will both self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of construction projects, while also playing a crucial role in managing client relationships. You will contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group. This position is based onsite in our office in Neenah, WI. As a Civil/Construction Engineer, you will review applicable construction standards, regulations, and contract requirements necessary for the completion of assigned tasks. You will conduct field inspections and materials testing for compliance, ensuring detailed documentation of construction activities. Additionally, you will assist in the design of projects and the preparation of construction specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for bidding. You will keep the Project Manager informed on the progress of work and pertinent issues through written, oral, and diagram presentations. Compliance with all applicable safety and environmental requirements is essential, as is contributing to schedules, tracking project progress, and preventing contract conflicts from escalating into problems. You will interact with contractors and their representatives while representing the contract owner, and be part of a team of civil engineering and technical professionals constructing transportation and municipal infrastructure.
