About the position

The Civil Design Engineer position focuses on providing engineering design and leadership for private land development projects. The role involves preparing various civil development plans and utilizing engineering software to ensure projects meet high standards and client expectations. Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil development plans including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for project design.
• Conduct zoning and permitting research as part of project planning.
• Design utility systems and manage storm water management systems.

Requirements

• E.I.T. or P.E. certification is strongly encouraged.
• Experience in engineering design of land development projects.
• Proficiency in utility design and site grading.
• Knowledge of storm water management systems.
• Familiarity with zoning and permitting research.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
