As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the necessary specifications and regulations. You will utilize your technical expertise to create detailed plans and drawings, conduct site assessments, and provide recommendations for improvements. Your role will also involve communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Responsibilities

  • Work on the redesign of roadway corridors.
  • Participate in park reconstruction projects.
  • Assist in the replacement of water and sewer infrastructure.
  • Engage in neighborhood drainage projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Create detailed plans and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project needs and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT License required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation.
  • Experience using PDF, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
