Civil Designer

About the position

The Civil Designer role at Allegis Group involves performing detailed calculations, quantity take-offs, and design tasks primarily focused on K-12 projects, with some involvement in commercial projects. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with training provided if necessary. The role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of office and remote work, and includes site visits for project planning and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed calculations and quantity take-offs for various projects.
• Produce construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Design projects using Civil 3D, with training available if needed.
• Work primarily on K-12 projects, with some commercial project involvement.
• Conduct site visits for planning meetings and drawing updates as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Experience with grading, surfacing, and sanitary/sewer design projects.
• Site/land development project experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of Civil 3D design experience (preferred).
• Experience with K-12 projects (preferred).
• Associates degree or higher (preferred).
