The Civil Drafter will play a crucial role in supporting engineers on a park project, focusing on the creation and refinement of plan sets. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as the drafter will be responsible for labeling, annotations, layouts, and grading of sites. The role also involves working on proposed surfaces, which necessitates a strong understanding of civil drafting principles and practices. The drafter will collaborate closely with lead engineers, project managers, and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) professionals, ensuring that all drafting tasks align with project specifications and standards. This position is integral to the successful execution of the project, and the drafter will be expected to contribute effectively to team discussions and project planning sessions. The work environment is primarily office-based, with standard working hours from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. After an initial training period of a couple of weeks, the candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule, allowing for remote work two days a week.
