Civil Drafter

About the position

North San Diego based Civil Engineering firm founded on the concept of combining land planning techniques and civil engineering design is seeking a Civil Drafter to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop master plans and detailed designs, including layouts, grading, utilities, stormwater management, erosion/sediment control, roadways, and water resources.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create 3D surfaces and correct redlines on plans from commissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards through meticulous plan checking and documentation review.
• Provide technical support to civil engineers and administrative assistance to ensure timely project completion.
• Juggle multiple tasks and manage project deadlines with ease.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years in Civil Drafting.
• Skilled in AutoDesk Civil 3D (2018 or newer).
• Proven success in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to hit project deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Some experience in land development is a plus.
