Responsibilities

• Assist in various design elements to complete projects with clear objectives.
• Prepare complete project documentation including plans, specifications, and engineer estimates.
• Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques and procedures for project assignments.
• Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work on multiple projects.
• Assist in the preparation of project scopes, tasks, budgets, and schedules.
• Contribute to proposals including bid documents and project reports.
• Interact and collaborate with clients, contractors, and project team members.
• Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in Aviation, Transportation, or Site Development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Strong working knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and Federal/State funding.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the North Carolina airport community.
• Construction administration experience.
