About the position

The Civil Engineer position at PRIME AE Group focuses on preparing Construction Documents for private Site Development projects in central Ohio. The role encompasses the entire lifecycle of projects, from planning and zoning to reviewing and approving shop drawings, with an emphasis on stormwater management, utility design, and construction detailing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Civil 3D to prepare Construction Documents for private development projects in Central Ohio.
• Develop Stormwater Management designs and prepare the related report and documentation.
• Engage and facilitate the development of younger engineers.
• Work with regulators to address plan review comments.
• Conduct site/field visits during design and construction as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 3-7 years of civil design experience.
• Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Use of AutoTurn, HydroCAD, and Deltek is a plus.
• Excellent communication and delegation skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage and mentor team members.
