PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Columbus, OH office. This position is integral to our mission of designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and facilities that enhance community living. The Civil Engineer will focus on preparing Construction Documents for private Site Development projects in central Ohio, overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects from planning and zoning to reviewing and approving shop drawings. The ideal candidate will be involved in various aspects of civil engineering, including storm water management design, utility design, roadway and parking design, grading design, erosion and sediment control design, and construction detailing and specifications. In this role, the Civil Engineer will utilize Civil 3D software to create detailed Construction Documents tailored for private development projects. The position also requires the development of Stormwater Management designs, along with the preparation of related reports and documentation. The successful candidate will engage with younger engineers, facilitating their development and growth within the firm. Additionally, the Civil Engineer will work closely with regulators to address plan review comments and will conduct site and field visits during both the design and construction phases as necessary.
