About the position
The Civil Engineer Analyst position is designed for recent engineering graduates looking to start their careers in civil engineering. This role involves working in the Oakland, CA office, focusing on pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, and analysis for various projects. Analysts will utilize technical software and collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce clients' visions for the future built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices, procedures, and standards.
- Learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.
Requirements
- An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
