About the position

The Civil Engineer position focuses on building and structural design within a full-service engineering firm. The role involves providing engineering services for various infrastructure projects, including central utility power plants and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of civil engineering drawings, perform technical calculations, and conduct field investigations to support project development.

Responsibilities

• Development of civil engineering drawings including site plans, profiles, details, erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management plans, and construction phasing plans.
• Perform technical calculations associated with civil engineering designs.
• Conduct cost estimating for civil designs.
• Carry out field investigations such as site surveys and inspection of utility tunnels and manholes.
• Create civil engineering specifications and support the development of civil designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• 4-6+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• EIT or PE certification is ideal.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Windows preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with AutoCAD Civil3D preferred.
