AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our Environmental Business Line in the Greenville, SC office. As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical experts to deliver remediation services to our clients in the Power sector market. You will also have the opportunity to work across business lines, such as Transportation, to support AECOM's growing business. In this position, you will support the design of various solid waste disposal facilities, earthen dams, bridges, retaining walls, roadways, and other geotechnical, civil, and remediation projects. The ideal candidate should possess at least seven years of relevant experience in civil engineering and have a strong background in the CCR market. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated engineers to advance their careers while addressing key environmental and engineering challenges in the region. As a lead engineer on mid- to large-size projects, you will provide specialized technical input to studies and design efforts, approve and sign off on work, and present complex technical solutions to clients. You will also perform quality control reviews of work developed by others, participate in the development of technical proposals, and provide estimates for engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements. Additionally, you will maintain existing client relationships and contracts through successful project delivery, develop new clients, and grow the CCR and Geotechnical practice statewide and region-wide. Your role will also involve serving as a project manager and program manager, attending client meetings, coordinating with diverse project teams, and participating in national organizations on behalf of AECOM.
