Responsibilities

• Manage large complex multi-disciplinary engineering construction cost estimates and resource allocation.
• Develop and recommend standards and procedures for cost estimates.
• Review current policies and directives for consistency and relevance.
• Conduct special studies and evaluations to enhance cost estimating practices.
• Participate in technology updates and training programs for cost estimating.
• Ensure construction cost trends are appropriate and up-to-date.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent education and experience.
• Current valid Professional Engineer's license.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in cost estimating or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in materials science related to geotechnical engineering.
• Experience as a team lead for large geotechnical laboratory and field testing programs.
