The company is currently seeking a motivated and driven Civil Engineer - Designer - Engineer in Training to join their team in Statesboro, GA. In this role, the civil designer will be responsible for preparing site development construction drawings and engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure. The position also involves handling permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Regular client interaction is a key aspect of this role, necessitating excellent communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing land development projects using Civil 3D software applications, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. An Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is strongly preferred. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to manage a regular work schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday. The ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and complete tasks efficiently is crucial, as is a client service-oriented mindset and problem-solving ability.
